University of Plymouth
Following a design competition, the architectural commission was successfully awarded to us. The design solution adopted makes full use of the long, narrow and sloping site adjacent to the existing University accommodation.
The development is separated into 14no. five and six storey self-contained blocks incorporating 502 study bedrooms, of which 162 have their own ensuite facilities.
The residential accommodation blocks are themselves further divided into 6 and 8 bedroom, self contained flats, which are sited around a formal central concourse providing access to the below ground facilities. Vehicular access to the sub basement car park is via a ramped entrance located adjacent to the Regent Street car park.
